Stephanie Hernandez serves as Secretary of InCity HotSpots Foundation, helping support the organization’s mission of creating free and accessible opportunities for youth and families throughout Brownsville and the Rio Grande Valley.
A devoted mother of two and longtime zookeeper at the Gladys Porter Zoo in Brownsville, Stephanie is known for her dedication, compassion, responsibility, and strong work ethic. Her professional career has taught her the importance of patience, teamwork, consistency, and caring for others; qualities she also brings to her role with the Foundation.
As both a parent and community member, Stephanie understands firsthand the importance of providing children with positive, safe, and affordable opportunities to learn, stay active, build confidence, and create lasting memories.
Through her role as Secretary, Stephanie helps support the Foundation’s organization, accountability, and continued growth while sharing Sergio’s commitment to serving local families and removing financial barriers that can prevent children from participating in meaningful programs.
